Wollongong, NSW – Triple i would like to announce the acquisition of Illawarra Electrical Design Pty Ltd (IED), effective 1/1/2022.
IED has been operating in the Illawarra for 30 years offering industrial automation, electrical design, installation, and maintenance services. The synergies with Triple i carry through to respect, maturity, and reputation. The combination will deliver exciting opportunities for our staff, customers, and suppliers.
Both companies are seeking to provide their customers and staff with security. IED’s customers will be able to access the advantages of a larger organisation for resourcing work and operational support. Triple i is actively pursuing its sustainability plan and this acquisition supports an increase in a more diverse and consistent market. It also provides additional employee development opportunities.
IED’s owner, Jim Adams, will become our Asset Services Manager, with Dave Holt moving to Business Manager.
It will be business as usual and there will be no change in the personal service our customer’s value. Documentation and branding for IED will move to Triple i as the opportunity occurs.
Our aim is by the end of 2022 to have additional resources fully active in IED’s lighter industrial market and to have commenced the integration of the Asset Services team under Jim. Jim will continue to be hands-on and support our customers and will provide staff with technical and training mentoring.
Triple i’s Evolution: A Glimpse into the Future
Shortly we will be updating you on some things that have been happening at Triple i. We look different from what we did five years ago. There are many new people amongst the team. We have rebranded and restructured. We have embarked on a significant traineeship plan and are embedding skills development wherever we can.
Our business plan is focused on sustainability and adaptation to an ever-changing market to ensure Triple i will be here for at least another 35 years.
