REAL TIME PROCESS INTELLIGENCE

Real-time Process Intelligence (RTPI) is a concept of delivering operational intelligence about business production as it occurs.

RTPI - OPTIMNISATION

We use real time data, SPC algorithms, digital twins and analytics to provide live operational insight.

This insight defines the actions required to deliver consistent optimised performance.

RTPI-IMPROVEMENTS

Improvement is a result of following a systematic approach to transform your business.

RTPI Modules

RTPI-MODULES

Triple i’s strategies are organised into strategic modules which can be used singularly or combined to deliver key business performance improvement.

Each module has phases that allow progress based on needs and targets. Outcomes from phases are available to refine the next phase.

RTPI-DIAGRAM

Increasing productivity focuses on increasing the effective use and capacity of the asset to increase output.

At the same time there is no use increasing production if the value of this output is compremised.

Process control integrity is important, and you need to alert personnel in real time of deviations.

All of these elements are considered in our RTPI strategies.

Time Utilisation (Ut) Strategy

Most processes have times where output is not occurring, yet the plant is available.

This strategy increases production output by reducing operational downtime. It targets areas such as preparation, response to changes, recovery after issues and variations in operation.

RTPI - Time Utilisation

Capacity Utilisation (Uc) Strategy

This strategy looks at optimising the output by utilising unused capacity. It identifies bottlenecks and analyses actual operations to identify potential gains in process output.

Quality Performance Strategy

This strategy relates to the ability to produce the desired quality while maximising other production outcomes. This may include improving quality where there is value, avoiding poor quality, or optimising quality to balance other objectives.

Quality analytics include predictive analysis and alerting potential poor quality.

RTPI-Quality Performance Strategy

Cost Performance Strategy

The costs monitored focus on the real time measured data, usually energy and services.

Issues with inefficiency of use  are identified in various strategies, and often directly linked to poor operational integrity of the process controls.

RTPI - Cost-Performance

Process Control Strategy

We are increasing the complexity of operations and the available data. Production improvement act to reduce limits and seek more advanced controls.

What is understood from all the strategies often leads to changes to the process controls, and there is a need to secure  operational integrity in the existing and new controls.

Operational Profiling Strategy

Automation simplifies operator tasks but also reduces process  experience for diagnostics.

This module focus on filling in this gap, identifying issues and alert deviations.

Artificial Intelligence including machine learning, correlation and neural networks, can directly identify and highlight issues.
