Last Friday, we hosted the highly anticipated 2024 VIP Networking and Golf Day, and it turned out to be an incredible success! Despite starting with a light drizzle, the weather soon cleared, creating perfect conditions for a memorable day of fun, networking, and camaraderie.
Morning Kick-off
The day began bright and early with a hearty breakfast of delicious bacon and egg rolls, energizing everyone for the action ahead. The shotgun start at 7 AM set the tone for a spirited round of golf, with participants eager to showcase their skills on the green.
Supplier Expo
Our supplier partners played a central role in the event, showcasing their expertise through engaging displays, equipment and instrumentation demonstrations, and informative videos. Every attendee took time to explore the expo, which highlighted the latest innovations in the industry.

Highlights from the Course
Golf enthusiasts participated enthusiastically, with many joining the #TripleiGolfDay2024 Best Photo competition, sharing their best moments from the day. SMC stood out on and off the course, earning the Best Dressed award with their team shirts supporting men’s mental health – a thoughtful and meaningful initiative.
The coveted Best Team award went to a talented group of avid golfers, including Cris from our Electrical Constructions team. While no one landed a hole-in-one to claim the Ace Award, the lucky door prize fund for the expo grew by an extra $1,000, adding to the excitement for one fortunate attendee!
Closing Celebrations
The event wrapped up with a lively lunch, where laughter, drinks, and shared stories capped off the day. It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to strengthen connections and unwind in good company.
