Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated sales representative who has or is willing to develop a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at building relationships, and produce desired outcomes that help our clients.
The sales representative role supports our sales manager, working with our sales team and support staff. The Triple i systems and resources enable this role to benefit from a flexible work arrangement.
THE TEAM
With over 80 people employed full-time, you will collaborate with a team of talented individuals. Our team includes engineers, project managers, technical service specialists, electricians, and mechanical trades. Our Sales team and solution experts are integral to ensuring our customer’s success.

THE ROLE
The role will require external and internal product and solution sales to ensure fit-for-purpose outcomes for our valued customers.

Responsibilities of the sales representative role include:
- Interact with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face.
- Visiting clients and customer sites
- Ability to work autonomously with a great work ethic.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Help the team to Co-ordinate our sales effort.
- Generate professional proposals.
- Apply the sales process from proposal to order and ongoing support.
- Maintain and update CRM and document systems.
- Work with the teams, supplying feedback that ensures we meet our customers’ needs.
- Foster and support our strong and valued relationships with our supportive supply partners.
THE CANDIDATE
Our ideal candidate is a quick learner with strong negotiating skills and can develop an understanding of products and capabilities to showcase our offerings.
The successful candidate will have Australian residency and ideally live within the Greater Illawarra Region of NSW. The applicant must be able to provide evidence they have the experience and skills to suit the job requirements, including:
- A willingness to learn and develop in-depth product knowledge.
- Demonstrate communication skills effectively.
- A current driver’s license.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to build effective client relationships.
- Highly motivated
- Be well-presented with a professional demeanor.
- Have IT competency skills. Familiarity with Microsoft O365 is an advantage.
The following would be highly desirable:
- Knowledge of instrumentation, automation, and industrial control systems
- Experience in a similar sales role
- Qualifications relevant to sales or business

The remuneration package is negotiable and will depend on the skills, outcomes, and experience you can deliver.
