WHAT IS AN ASSET ACCORING TO ARDI?
ARDI views EVERYTHING as an asset – it is designed to be flexible, meaning it can include anything of value which you may keep data on.
An asset can be anything, not just fixed hardware, or equipment like traditional asset management systems. This includes physical parts and equipment, such as valves, sensors, and pumps, as well as company departments or areas, such as human resources.
HOW DOES ARDI CONSOLIDATE DATA?
Before the age of digital transformation, information and data have been traditionally kept in physical form obstructed by manual processes and often separated from the task or asset itself. If data is hard to access, it can become problematic as it will not be used. Also, as time progresses and more processes are introduced, training or reliance on certain staff is created which affects operations.
ARDI can help your organisation eliminate the barriers between your staff and the information they need by consolidating all relevant and critical information into one digital platform. WHAT INFORMATION CAN ARDI SOURCE & STORE?
ARDI can source and consolidate any type of live and historical data, from serial numbers and descriptions, through to properties, alerts, and media files.
- Properties – temperature, pressure, and maintenance status.
- Alerts – showing problems with the asset; it can be linked to external sources or alarm management systems.
- Media Files – Material safety data sheets, safe work procedures, isolation instructions, manuals and instruction videos, mechanical and electrical drawings, piping diagrams, photographs, calibration certificates, maintenance history and schedules, and more.
Information may also be stored in separate knowledge management systems onsite, including:
- SCADA and historian systems
- Document Management systems
- Maintenance systems
- Human Resource systems
- Personal tracking and time tracking systems
ARDI does not store all asset information itself, instead it requests the latest information from your current information systems. By doing this, ARDI provides the most up-to-date information available, while at the same time minimising the impact on your existing data maintenance and update procedures.
CAN ARDI ACCESS INFORMATION FROM OTHER INTEGRATIONS / SYSTEMS?
ARDI is designed with an open driver framework, allowing you to create your own unique input drivers to capture data. Using the ARDI API, you can access any information in the ARDI database from third party products. This includes live data updates, history, relationships, asset details, alerts and more, which are fed directly into your own software packages.
Our add-in system also allows for code to be directly added into the ARDI server, increasing functions, and extending existing ones to make the system even more powerful.
