Each year we have an intake of apprentices, cadets and graduates who benefit from training and experience in engineering, electrical, mechanical, service, and business administration. With continuous improvement and growth opportunities available our recruits are kept up to date with the latest technologies, processes, and skills to ensure they are trained to succeed.

APPRENTICE & TRAINEE PROGRAMS
As a host employer for HVTC, each year we offer a range of apprenticeships and traineeships, providing on-the-job training and experience along with an accredited qualification.
Our trainees and tradespeople benefit from rotations across our divisions, gaining experience in real-world applications complementing their training, and receiving mentoring from senior technicians, engineers, and management.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
- Open to electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and fabrication streams, along with business administration.
- Support from division teams and managers, as well as RTO partner organisation, HVTC.
- Work and build your skills alongside experienced subject matter experts.
- School leaver and mature age opportunities.
- Opportunities for progression to full-time employment upon successful completion of the program.

CADET & GRADUATE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS PROGRAMS
Our Cadet program is designed to provide a flexible working arrangement that complements the formal studies being undertaken. Learning and gaining valuable experience within a practical environment.
Our Graduate Electrical Engineers Program is designed for final year or recently graduated students (1-2 years) from electrical, computer and software engineering disciplines, offering an opportunity to apply theoretical learning within a practical environment.
The programs expose cadets and graduates to many disciplines within our business and enables you to work closely with senior staff from a variety of diverse backgrounds and fields.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
- We offer our graduate engineers a comprehensive program across both service and projects which also involve other divisions within the company, allowing you to expand your skillset.
- Graduates are offered a permanent contract upon entry into the program.
- Graduate opportunities span all aspects of electrical engineering, including design and specification, software engineering, commissioning and fault finding.
- Vacancies and disciplines will differ year to year and will be referenced in the Graduate Program advertisement.
